FLIR Duo Pro R Overview

Written by UAS THERMALS™ | September 15, 2017

FLIR has just announced a product that is sure to be a game changer for aerial thermal imaging – the FLIR Duo Pro R.

The FLIR Duo Pro R is a high resolution, dual-sensor imaging camera that features both radiometric thermal and 4K color imaging. Multiple display options allow pilots the ability to switch between thermal and color imaging, or view them both at the same time, all while still in flight. All digital thermal video and stills are recorded on the camera’s two on-board microSD cards.

The camera is equipped with a built-in sensor suite, making it ideal for surveys and mapping. With an integrated GPS receiver, IMU, magnetometer, and barometer, the Duo Pro R can create highly accurate orthomosaics without the use of external flight controllers.
